Xiaomi introduced an incredibly exciting feature which was known as the “sky filter” with the launch of Mi CC9e and CC9 models in China. With the use of this feature, the users were allowed to change the color of the sky in photos. And, with a fantastic range of editing tools so that the pictures can be appealing enough to be uploaded in the social media handles.
The same feature also comes with the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro models. However, it is not clear whether the feature can be availed with an update on the phones. Also, it is unclear that you can avail it with an update on the Gallery or not. While editing the pictures, the feature can undoubtedly be spotted.
The general manager of Redmi, Lu Weibing, announced the news. He did it by blogging on Weibo, which is a micro-blogging site of China. There he announced that the fantastic Sky filter is now up for all the K20 and K20 pro users. He mentioned that on clicking “edit”, the latest editing feature would be visible. Go to the Gallery, choose a photo with the sky and click on edit.
You can find the sky filtering option there. There is also an option to control the strength of the filter wherein one can adjust it as per the requirement. The models K20 and K20 pro series are hitting the Indian market from 12th July. Pre-bookings will charge a nominal fee of Rs. 885. The phones will be available on Flipkart.
