US President warns Americans to prepare for ‘hell for next two weeks’ as models show up to 240,000 deaths

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump has held a marathon – two-hour-long press conference in which he warned Americans to stay for ‘very, very painful next two weeks.’ The American people must take the guidelines seriously and maintain social distancing for the next 30 days to save their lives. He urged the population to limit group socializing to not more than ten people, work from home, and not dine-in restaurants.

The federal government advised people to stay in homes through the end of April, avoid discretionary travel, no visit to nursing homes, cease social gatherings, and practice good hygiene to stay safe from corona infection. Earlier, the White House discouraged Americans from wearing masks if they do not have any symptoms of the corona. The president encouraged the same action on Tuesday and suggested people should use scarves so that there is not any shortage of supplies for healthcare professionals. Trump also assured that the construction of two new hospital ships is soon to start to ease the burden of the country had overwhelmed medical system. Besides, the powers of the Defense Production Act used at their best to speed up the production of medical equipment.
